keyfact Horsham District

The Horsham District derives much of its economic success from its location midway between London and the coast and its close proximity to Gatwick airport with excellent transport links: - Less than 20 minutes from Gatwick International Airport - Direct routes to London and the South Coast via M23, M25, and A24 - Good access to the South Coast ferry ports - Over 80 rail connections to London daily – fastest journey time around 48 minutes

Never forget the Rotary Club’s Elephant Trail

Following the enormous success of Horsham’s Giraffe Trail in 2013, Horsham Rotary Club is currently planning the follow up project - Horsham’s Elephant Trail.

The Elephant Trail and associated events will run from 28 July to 31 August. The Giraffe Trail involved over 100 businesses and organisations and received publicity on radio, in newspapers, through social media, and even on the BBC website, and hopefully the Elephant Trail will be even bigger!

At present the Rotary Club is looking for a main headline sponsor for the event, in order to cover the ancillary costs and subsidise the cost of the elephants. Any businesses interested in being the main sponsor should contact horshamrotary@btconnect.com.

The purchase/sponsorship of individual elephants will be launched after Easter, along with the details of how charities will participate. It is currently planned to have different sizes of elephant, a variety of trails and possibly some specific themed elephants and trails. If you have any comments or suggestions, please email the Rotary Club. More information will be released on 16 April.
