GraduateOn subsidises internships for Chichester University students

The University of Chichester is subsidising 50% of the pay cost for summer internships for students and recent graduates with businesses, charities and public sector organisations.

The university can help you to create your advertisement and the job specification to ensure you attract the most suitable applicants for your vacancy. They will advertise the vacancy and then send the applications to you as and when they receive them or after the closing date – whichever is your preference. This is a free service.

Qualifying Internships must:

  • Take place between 1st June and 31st August 2015
  • Pay £8 per hour or more
  • Be either 8 weeks full-time (37 or 37.5 hour week) or 8 weeks part-time (18.5 hour week)
  • Include tasks and responsibilities usually associated with a graduate level role

You are eligible for the subsidy if you are:

  • A business, charity or voluntary organisation
  • Located in West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire or Surrey
  • Based in business premises (ie not home-based)
  • Able to provide appropriate supervision and guidance during the internship
