Horsham District Food & Drink Businesses Sweep the Board

Sussex Food & Drink Awards 2012/13 finalists have been announced. Producers from the Horsham District are in all but one of the following categories:

All the Best of Sussex - Food Producer; Drink Producer; Farmer; Young Chef; Eating experience; Food/Farm shop; Butcher and Farmers’ Market.

The Sussex Food and Drink Awards are the only awards that highlight, recognise and support Sussex farmers and producers and the businesses which sell and promote their produce. Sussex  is blessed with a wealth of glorious food and drink, including a huge number of creative and hard-working producers and manufacturers who are creating award-winning food and drink every day.

The Horsham District is a key contributor to Sussex's success, with many award-winning artisan producers, micro-breweries, vineyards, fantastic farms and farm shops and independent retailers as well as scrumptious eateries serving up local fare.

As a result, The Horsham District regularly provides finalists and winners in The Sussex Food and Drink Awards. This year is no exception with finalists in seven of the eight categories including:
